Ashley Flotté

 

Ashley Flotté is an Associate Attorney with Smith & Garg who has substantial experience in the area of estate planning.  Her practice is focused primarily in the areas of Wills, Trusts and Estate Planning, as well as estate administration. She has helped numerous individuals and families achieve their financial and personal goals, as well as gain peace of mind, through the construction of carefully designed Wills, Trusts, Advanced Directives, and Power of Attorney documents. She also represents those who have lost loved ones by guiding and assisting clients through the Texas Probate system.

Mrs. Flotté hails from Garland, Texas, a suburb of Dallas. She graduated cum laude from Texas A&M University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Spanish. While at Texas A&M, she was on the Dean’s List, and a member of the Phi Eta Sigma and Golden Key honor societies. Following graduation, Mrs. Flotté moved to Houston and earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from South Texas College of Law in 2007. Her internships included work in estate planning, probate, business law, civil litigation, and personal injury. Since completing law school, Mrs. Flotté has practiced in the areas of wills/trusts/estates, probate, family law, family-based immigration, and business entity formation. She has been licensed by and in good standing with the Texas Bar since 2007.
