Audrie L. Lawton is an experienced attorney and she has practiced law in the areas of civil litigation, criminal law, real estate, legal malpractice, and alternative dispute resolution. Ms. Lawton is a licensed real estate agent having represented clients in numerous residential and commercial real estate transactions throughout Harris and surrounding counties for the past three years. Ms. Lawton has represented clients in all aspects of civil litigation, including contract disputes, landlord tenant, personal injury, negligence, business litigation, arbitration, and mediation. Ms. Lawton is a former Assistant Attorney General and trial attorney for the State Bar of Texas.  Ms. Lawton has extensive litigation experience in both state and federal court.

Ms. Lawton attended Loyola University New Orleans, where she graduated in 1999 with a bachelor’s degree in History.  After graduation, she obtained her law degree in 2002.  While in law school, she was the vice-president of her graduating class, a member of law review, and winner of various moot court and mock trial competitions. 

Ms. Lawton is a proud wife and mother of two and enjoys balancing her legal career with the responsibilities of motherhood.  Ms. Lawton is an active member of the legal community.     She is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Houston Bar Association, and the Harris County Criminal Lawyers Association.  She is admitted to practice law in the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Northern, Eastern, Southern, and Western District Courts of Texas. 

Ms. Lawton is a recognized speaker on legal ethics and professionalism. She has also completed training with the Harris County Dispute Resolution Center and is a Certified Mediator in civil and family law.  Ms. Lawton has been duly licensed to practice law in the State of Texas since November 2002.
