Is there a claim in Texas for tortious interference of “prospective relations”?
Yes. To prove a claim for tortious interference of prospective relations, the plaintiff must show that there was a reasonable probability that the plaintiff would have entered into a business relationship with a third party and the defendant intentionally interfered with the relationship, the defendant’s interference was independently unlawful or tortious and the interference was the cause of the plaintiff’s actual damage or loss.
