Woodlands biological mothers rights in Texas

What rights do biological mothers have in an adoption case?

Unlike in the case of the biological father, in order for an adoption to take place, a biological mother’s rights must have been terminated either voluntarily or by Court order. With regard to the biological mother, the Courts and the legislature for that matter lean more heavily toward the right of the biological mother since she gave birth to the child. In cases dealing with termination of rights or adoptions, it is very important to always consult with an experienced adoption attorney.
