A Directive to Physician deals specifically with what happens to a person in they are is a situation where they must be put on life support in order to sustain their life and there is no realistic probability of recovery. In such a case, a doctor is directed make a decision as to whether or not to administer measures which would sustain your life artificially. In the event you have not accomplished a Directive to Physicians, a doctor will be required to use all means necessary to sustain your life. For some people, this is not preferable.
